Meet the Founder - Melissa Theodore- MSN, APRN-BC
Melissa Theodore is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with a dedicated passion for adult and geriatric care. With over 20 years of healthcare experience and 14 years specializing in adult and geriatric primary care, Melissa has made a lasting impact on her field. After earning her master’s degree in nursing from Rush University, Melissa provided expert patient care in prestigious medical systems including Rush University Medical Center and Advocate Aurora Health System, as well as numerous assisted living and skilled nursing facilities across the Chicagoland area.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Melissa brings over a decade of experience in the insurance industry, where she audited medical charts and developed a deep understanding of Value-Based Care, insurance based cared delivery systems, and clinical sales support.
Today, Melissa is committed to bringing her wealth of experience back to her community, addressing the gaps in care created by a fragmented healthcare system. As an educator, advocate and expert in care-coordination, she strives to improve healthcare delivery for patients and families. Melissa firmly believes that healthcare can and should be more accessible, efficient and compassionate- and she’s dedicated to leading that change.
